MAFCO TO HOST INTER-VARSITY SPORTS GAMES
Malawi Armed Forces College (MAFCO) will host the 2019 day-long Inter-varsity Sports Games on 30th March, 2019 in the lakeshore tourist district of Salima. Inter-versity games are played among the public universities in Malawi.
University of Malawi (UNIMA) with all its four constituent colleges, namely, Chancellor College, College of Medicine, Kamuzu College of Nursing and the Polytechnic; Malawi University of Science and Trechnology (MUST); and Lilongwe University of Africulture and Natural Resorces (LUANAR) will be the competing public universities in the sports games.
Ordinarily the Inter-versity Committee invites the guest team(s) to take part in the games and this year the host, MAFCO, and Old Mutual will come as guest teams.
Among other games to be played will be football, netball, volleyball, darts, pool, chess, bawo and athletics.
