FOUR YEAR REPORT FOR THE VICE CHANCELLOR'S TOUR OF DUTY IS OUT

27 April, 2018

The Chancellor of University of Malawi Professor John D. Kalenga Saka has released a four year report of his tour of duty. Professor Kalenga Saka was appointed in 2013 along side his deputy the Pro Vice Chancellor Professor Al Mtenje.

The report, a must read, details the numerical growth of the student population, infrastructure development and the general expansion that has taken place within the University in the last four years.

Within the time, as the report indicates, the University has introduced a number of specilaised programmes that have a direct responsiveness to the socio-development of the country.

The Vice Chancellor also delves into the prevalent issue of delinking of the University's colleges to a standalone universities , describing the exercise as a window for opportunities.

The report can be downloaded on www.unima.mw/other/downloads
