COLLEGE OF MEDICINE TO DRILL PROPOSAL WRITERS FROM 28-29 MARCH 2018

 

As one way of advancing skillset for proposal writers in the country, College of Medicine, a constituent college of University of Malawi has organized a two-day Proposal Writing Training dubbed “Writing Winning Proposals Course”

Research Support Centre of the College will facilitate the training which will take place from 28 – 29 March 2018.

The College authorities say the training particularly targets investigators, young researchers, postgraduate fellows and all interested parties.

The available information further says the following will be modules to be tackled;

  • Understand the proposal writing process
  • Develop different kinds of proposals
  • Target their proposals for an appropriate audience
  • Identify potential funders for different ideas
  • Perform needs analysis that will enable development of a feasible proposal
  • Format their proposal professionally
  • Construct words, sentences and paragraphs professionally

However, each participant will be required to make a contribution training fee of $275 which will cater for course material, lunch and refreshments.
